I wrote a blog post that I’m struggling to upload on the official baby2mom website.
I’ll copy the blog here and then you can decide if it is worthy of posting or not.
Dear brave women,
I applaud you for considering taking part in this process by being a donor or recipient. On my first appointment at the Pretoria East hospital fertility clinic I was scared and uncertain, but an old man with a friendly smile put all my worries to rest. In the weeks that followed after my first appointment, I started the hormone treatment. It honestly didn’t make me feel any worse or better than before I started the treatment. It was painful injecting myself every day but I reminded myself that I’m doing this for the best possible cause, giving someone the gift of life. On the day of the donation, I was worried that the sedation would make me feel groggy and miserable but I felt fine, maybe even better than I do when I wake up in the morning.
I have a very busy schedule, I study law and I have a career in modeling. If you’re as busy as I am, I recommend that you work with my Agent Jenny Currie. Having her as an agent is like having your mom with you every step of the way.
There is so much power vested in you, use it for good, change someone’s life forever.
